This recipe makes about 14 to 16 cookies in total. It is inspired by my all time favorite Baker - Gemma Stafford from Bigger Bolder Baking.
First add your soften butter in a large bowl and add sugar to it and mix it very well. It will soon change its color from yellow to pale white, now add in your eggs one at a time then add the vanilla essence, and mix .
Now add your flour and salt and mix well. Once all the flour mix is mixed it add in ur chocolate chips and fold well.
Keep this dough in fridge for at least 30 mins before you start making the cookie dough balls. You can even make small portions of the dough and freeze it and bake it off when you want freshly baked cookies.
Make small portions of your cookie dough and but them on a baking tray signed with baking sheet. You need not flatten this cookie as it will spread as it bakes.
Bake them at 350 degree Fahrenheit pr 180 degree Celsius for roughly 12 to 15 mins. Keep a close eye after 12 mins as cooking time may vary on the oven you use.
Let the cookie cool a bit before you have a taste test. These cookies remain fresh for up to 3 weeks but I guarantee it will be over long before that.
I thank Gemma Stafford, my baking inspiration for this wonderful and easy recipe which I tried and loved it.
I did make very minute variations from her recipe just to suit my kitchen, you can also make your own variations to it. Baking is suppose to be fun and a way to spread joy..:P
I hope you give this recipe a try.
