Chicken Fry with a small twist


If your looking for a improvised version of chicken fry, search no more. My friend (Dr. Rock) had told me about this recipe and it tasted very good. This is his recipe and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.


Ingredients-

Chicken boneless - 350 - 400 grams

Chilly whole - 3

Dried Chilly - 2

Chilly Powder - 3 tsp

Pepper Powder - 2 tsp

Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp

Coriander Powder - 2 tsp

Garam Masala - 1 tsp

Curd - 2 tsp

Lemon Juice - 2 tsp

Oil - Enough for shallow frying

Curry Leaves - 5 /6 leaves

Mustard Seeds - 2 tsp

Onion - Thinly Sliced 1/4 Cup

Salt - As per taste


Recipe-

First, in a small bowl add in the curd, chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, pepper and lemon and mix well.

Now, marinate the chicken pieces and keep aside for 20 minutes atlas. You can even keep it over night for better flavor.

In a pan, add in enough oil for shallow frying the marinated chicken pieces and fry each pieces until golden brown.

Now in the same pan, reduce the oil in the pan and add in the mustard seeds with the dried chilly and whole chilly and add in the onions. Fry these till the onions are golden brown and then add in the fried chicken and mix well. Finish the dish by adding in curry leaves and stir well and serve hot.
